12nd - 13rd March 2009, CheangFusion and Opendream were organized workshop of GeoChat SMS groups communication software developed by InSTEDD to the disease surveillance network of Mekong Basin Disease Surveillance (MBDS) in Mukdahan.

Opendream has been facilitated the SMS local gateway and other technical support to Mukdahan network and the network will be expended to Suvarnakhat in future.

The workshop outcome with pilot group to report disease through SMS who will be monitored the disease such cholera, DHF, food poisoning, chicken pox, measles, Hand Foot Mount.
