International Labor Organisation (ILO) Joint Training Program in Social Entrepreneurship
We are currently developing a joint training program with the ILO on social entrepreneurship. The program includes developing a "train the trainers" module on social entrepreneurship and also training workshops potentially in Africa and Asia. The program is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
Youth Social Enterprise Initiative (YSEI)
YSEI is a high-engagement social venture program for emerging young social entrepreneurs in developing countries. Through the Fellowship , YSEI aims to invest in young visionaries who have big ideas and who need crucial startup support to turn their ideas into action. The key partners are GKP and SDC. Cyber-health (ICT plan for social health promotion)
NETvolution is formally known as ICT plan for social health promotion. The project aims to massively expand Thailand's social and knowledge space through the Internet. There are two broad strategies, (1) creating creative digital environment for the new generation. (2) building social sector capacity to use ICT innovatively. The key partners are Thai Health Promotion Foundation, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and Creative New Media Network.
Grassroot Innovation Network (GIN)
GIN aims at innovating sustainable organic agriculture method in the poorest and driest areas in Thailand. GIN synthesizes advancement in appropriate biotechnology and local agricultural wisdom and introduces 1/4 acre intensive organic farming method that increase over 500% sustainable productivity growth per family over half a year while making sure the resources employed can be produced at local community level. Key partners are ministry of agriculture, Japanese embassy and Northeast rural scholars network. Click here to go to the project site
Thailand Giving and Volunteering Center (TGVC Thailand).
TGVC aims to innovatively facilitate volunteer and various form of philanthropic giving in Thailand via information technology and multi-stakeholder partnership. TGVC developed and coordinated national giving and volunteering portal online as well as policy development such as the ministerial decree that allowing 5 days for volunteering for government officials. TGVC also facilitated various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives by private sector as well as linking them up with appropriate NGOs. TGVC is launched as joint venture with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
