Regional Forestry Voluntary Carbon Market Communication Portal

The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), ChangeFusion and OpenDream together developed a Regional Forestry Voluntary Carbon Market Communication Portal.
The objectives of the project are as followed;
- Providing access to knowledge and most updated information on trends which are related to community forestry to members and interested individuals or organizations.
- Strengthening the relationship of people in existing community forestry networks by connecting each different network together through community forestry social media platform, as well as to be an online gateway where any individuals or organizations that are interested in community forestry can get in touch with the networks.
- Providing a facilitating ‘financing mechanism’, to ensure that community forest groups have access to forestry VCM investors.
