Survey of 8,703 students: Schoolwork is their biggest source of stress, and nearly 8 in 10 are willing to share their experiences to help friends
Data from a Google Form collected alongside the activity indicate that more than half of students feel moderately to very frequently stressed during their school years, and the feature they like most is reading their friends’ experiences.

Of the 8,703 students who took part in the Jaidee Chatbot activity and completed the accompanying survey, 48.2% were lower secondary students and 41.4% were upper secondary students. The issues students felt most stressed, distressed or worried about during their school years, in descending order, were schoolwork (51.6%), friends, family, relationships, finances, sex and appearance, physical and mental health, military conscription, and their dreams and search for self-understanding. A total of 52.6% of students said they felt moderately stressed, while another 16.2% said they felt stressed very frequently. Only 1.4% said they never felt stressed at all.
Students rated the website content as extremely useful (41.3%) or very useful (40.1%). The feature students liked most was “Read friends’ experiences” (35%), followed by “Go ahead and vent”, a space to express their feelings (33%); “Share your experience” (28.7%); and “Get expert recommendations”, which was the least popular (3.2%). Students gave similar reasons: they felt as though a friend was always there to listen without judging them, and reading other people’s experiences helped them see that they were not the only ones facing their problems.
When asked whether they would be willing to share their own experiences for further development to help others facing similar problems, 41.7% of students said they were extremely willing, and another 37.9% said they were very willing. Together, this was nearly 8 in 10 survey respondents.
The data above came from online questionnaires collected alongside activities at each school through Google Forms. They are self-reported data from students who took part in the activities, not a random sample representative of all students in Thailand.
