Applications open nationwide for the “Best Grassroots Innovator, Year 5”
Applications are open for inventions by grassroots innovators nationwide from 5 April to 31 May B.E. 2568. More than 157 applicants have applied to take part.

The Year 5 Grassroots Innovators Innovation Promotion Project (B.E. 2568–2569) is accepting online applications through the Facebook page “Grassroots Innovators by Ch. Karnchang”, as well as through direct outreach by the team in the field, from 5 April to 31 May B.E. 2568. More than 157 grassroots innovators from across the country have submitted their innovations for selection, covering both the machinery and tools category and the handicrafts and arts category.
Applicants must be individuals whose domicile is in a community or community organisation. Inventions must be complete and already in actual use or on sale. The focus is on inventions related to infrastructure, construction, irrigation systems, renewable energy, agricultural machinery and other areas. They must not imitate or infringe on the intellectual property of others. The total funding support and prize money this year exceeds 800,000 baht.
