9 of 10 community forests in Mae Chaem have been registered

Registration under the Community Forest Act B.E. 2562 gives communities the right to manage and sustainably use forest resources. The Chiang Mai Province Community Forest Network Assembly is also pushing the state to formally recognise communities’ role as managers of headwater forests.
