Individual database system in Child Impact completed as planned, supporting Bureau 4’s annual planning
Child Impact developed a database of individuals participating in Bureau 4 partner projects, with more than 3,000 records. The work included cleaning the data, displaying it on a map, and creating and editing records. It was completed on schedule for use in Bureau 4’s annual work planning, and a fundraising approach through the Taejai website was also proposed to support the project’s sustainability.

Bureau 4 sent Child Impact’s team a database file containing approximately 3,000 records of individuals participating in its partners’ projects, for import into the system and use in annual work planning at the Bureau’s event on 14 May B.E. 2569. Development was divided into 3 parts:
- Clean and complete the data as far as possible
- Develop a system to display the database of individuals in Child Impact, including on a map
- Develop a system for creating and editing database records
Initially, only users with Admin-level permissions in the system would be able to view, create and edit the database of individuals. Permissions may be extended to project owner-level users in the future.
The development team completed the work on schedule, in time for it to be used in Bureau 4’s annual work planning at the event on 14 May B.E. 2569.
The meeting also discussed ways to receive donations to provide additional support for projects in Child Impact, alongside the partnership with TEP, to help ensure the project’s sustainability. The initial conclusion was that Bureau 4 would consider partnering with the Taejai website to create a fundraising campaign, rather than having Child Impact develop its own payment gateway, given the high costs and complexity.
