The latest impact assessment report (B.E. 2569), covering data through cohort 14, summarises key recommendations for both programmes.
For the incubation programme, there are 3 main recommendations: (1) make greater use of the mature alumni network as a more systematic source of mentors, because their first-hand experience is far more valuable than general advice; (2) strengthen the social enterprise ecosystem by connecting diverse alumni across impact areas, places of work and business models; and (3) develop impact clusters with shared indicators for each cluster, to enable more accurate comparisons of outcomes and strategy planning from the outset.
For the growth acceleration programme, lessons from the B.E. 2568 pilot round point to 4 key recommendations: (1) practical coaching requires experts who demonstrate the work in practice, not merely provide tools or frameworks; (2) structured orientation and face-to-face meetings from the outset help build trust more quickly than sending documents alone; (3) mentors’ visits to the field help ensure that their advice is better aligned with the actual work context; and (4) regularly reviewing goals along the way helps ensure the support remains relevant, even when circumstances or the enterprise’s priorities change during the programme.
