The project tracked self-reported revenue data from alumni of the growth acceleration programme between B.E. 2566 and B.E. 2568. It found that most recorded double-digit growth each year, reflecting a positive direction for ventures that have completed the programme.
The most notable case is Toolmorrow, whose revenue grew by 396% in B.E. 2568 (from 5.9 million baht to 29.3 million baht) following a business model adjustment and the launch of new products. It was followed by a-chieve, which grew by 158% in the same year (from 9.3 million baht to 24 million baht), after revenue had fallen by 14% the previous year, following a thorough review of its business and financial planning. Wandee V Crafts grew by 500% in B.E. 2568 (from 500,000 baht to 3 million baht), although its initial revenue base was still very small. This is a good example of how high percentage growth figures can be misleading if the starting figures are not also considered.
Data note: As the B.E. 2569 report itself states, these financial outcomes should be interpreted only as “indirect evidence”, since revenue and profit are influenced by many other factors beyond the growth acceleration programme alone.
