Measure impact in a language everyone understands
Many non-profit organisations, social enterprises and CSR projects want to know what impact they are creating, but lack tools and standard frameworks they can use together. Impact Flow was therefore developed as an online tool to help organisations plan and manage their impact in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), using international standards.
Incubate a new generation to put social enterprises into practice
Another aspect of infrastructure work is opening up free access to knowledge about social enterprise through online courses, while also providing a platform to select and fund a new generation of social entrepreneurs with ideas they are ready to put into practice.
Non-profit organisations, social enterprises and CSR projects seeking to measure their impact systematically, as well as people interested in starting social enterprises across Thailand and Japan. We work with UNDP, the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand, Banpu Public Company Limited and Social Value Japan.
- 01 Impact Flow—Tools for creating an Impact Value Chain, conducting materiality analysis and managing impact under the Impact Frontiers framework and UNDP's SDG Impact Standards.

What change does this work create, and how do you know it is effective?
We have figures on reach and the dissemination of tools, but no records yet of the social outcomes achieved or of lessons and what did not work.
This work strengthens infrastructure through impact management tools and learning about social enterprise. The recorded figures show the number of learners and Projects published, so they indicate reach and use, but they do not directly show the social outcomes achieved. This Issue
- SE School has 1,760 members in its system, and 1,251 learners who completed the programme received certificates. These are indicators of reach and completion. ProjectSE School
- Impact Flow has 109 Projects published publicly on its Thai-language website. The tool helps users plan and manage impact in line with the SDGs framework, but the number of Projects published does not show how people have been affected. ProjectImpact Flow
We have not yet recorded long-term social outcomes, changes affecting stakeholders, or lessons from what did not work in this data.
How was this work carried out, and what lessons can be applied going forward?
We provide both impact-planning tools and online courses, and connect learning with incubation and funding support, but have not yet documented lessons from implementation.

How does this work connect to systemic issues, and what kind of collaboration is needed?
This work addresses the lack of tools and shared standard frameworks through Impact Flow and incubation for social entrepreneurs. However, we have not recorded what specific form of collaboration is needed.
We see infrastructure work as helping strengthen the social impact ecosystem, both through shared impact measurement frameworks and by making knowledge about social enterprises accessible to the general public. This Issue
